🦊 OFFICIAL GUIDE: HOW TO RECEIVE AND MANAGE YOUR $UIC
Welcome to the new digital age of Utopian Identity. To own, trade, and use your $UICs, you need a digital wallet (Wallet). We use MetaMask, the safest and most widespread in the world.
1. Install MetaMask

From Computer: Go to metamask.io and install the extension for your browser (Chrome, Brave, or Edge).

From Smartphone: Download the MetaMask app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Setup: Create a new wallet. Important: Write your "Secret Recovery Phrase" (the 12 words) on paper and hide it in a safe place. Never give it to anyone!
2. Connect to Polygon network

The $UIC runs on the Polygon network, which is fast and cheap.

At the top left of MetaMask, click on the network (usually "Ethereum").

Click on "Add Network".

Search for "Polygon Mainnet" in the list and click "Add" and then "Approve".
3. Add the $UIC Token to your Wallet
Even if you purchased the tokens, MetaMask doesn't show them until you tell it to "look for" them.
Open MetaMask and make sure you are on the Polygon network.
Click "Import Token" (or "Import Tokens") at the bottom.
Paste the official contract address: 0xa4262C7d380C3069571e299190C9577aA97D6f82
The "Symbol" ($UIC) and "Decimals" (18) fields will fill in themselves.
Click "Add Custom Token".
4. How to find your address for purchase
To receive the $UIC you purchase on our Banca City:
Open MetaMask.
Under your account name (e.g. Account 1), you will see a code that starts with 0x...
Click on it to copy it. That's your "digital IBAN" to paste into the order form you'll find by clicking this link https://www.utopian-identity.art/banca-ui-utopian-city
