what I believe in

The Manifesto

WHAT IT MEANS TO HAVE A UTOPIAN IDENTITY:

01. Challenging the obvious. Questioning certainties to discover new truths.

02. Cultivate curiosity. Embracing the unknown as a source of growth and innovation.

03. Promote dialogue. Believing in the power of conversation to unite and transform.

04. Love art. Use your artistic expressions to spread free thinking.

The Utopian Identity movement and creed focuses on the search for a utopian identity, understood not as a pipe dream, but as an idealized model of self that serves as inspiration for personal and social change.

Creed and Central Vision

Utopian Identity's belief is deeply rooted in the idea that change must start from the individual.

  • Utopian Identity as Idealization: The central concept is the Utopian Identity, that is, the reflection on how one perceives oneself and how one would like to be, trying to reach an ideal version of oneself. This aspiration is seen as a model that can inspire concrete actions.

  • Personal Growth and Authenticity: This path is closely linked to themes of personal growth, search for authenticity and social and cultural aspirations. The goal is to shape one's inner vision of one's role in society.

  • Motivation for a Better Future: The idea of an ideal identity serves as a source of motivation for a better future, pushing to unite peoples and cultures through Love and Dialogue.

  • Role of the Artist: Artists have the mission of "ferrying" society towards a post-human and sustainable vision which, at the same time, respects the nature and sensitivity of human beings.

Thought Movement and Application

The Utopian Identity movement manifests itself as an enriching and enlightening experience that offers new perspectives, often in unconventional ways.

  • Process, not Product: In line with modern utopian thought, utopia is not seen only as the project of a perfect society (a finished product), but as a continuous process of criticism and transformation.

  • Performances and Artistic Creations: The movement uses Performance Art (video/photographic documentation, concept), Installations (photographs, technical drawings, conceptual statement), Digital Works (for online/paper publication), as a process to build and define the ideal identity of personal and artistic expression. The objective is to create emotional and reflective connections with visitors, orienting the public's perception towards the message they want to communicate.

  • Cultural and Philosophical References: The thought incorporates symbolic references, such as those described in the book "Utopian of the Arcana," which seems to allude to a series of experiential and tested "journeys." A book that suggests a mix of active hope and a model of utopian identity aimed at an authentic existence "modeled" by art.
