ROBERTA PONTRANDOLFO ARTIST

Roberta Pontrandolfo is a performer, creative designer and utopian, graduated in Scenography from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome with 110 cum laude and academic kiss, whose entire life and production are guided by the fundamental principle of self-determination. Deeply tied to the tradition that sees utopia and the praise of madness as the driving forces to generate the new, it bases all its actions on environmental protection and sensitivity. In the academic field, he coined the "Scenography of Thought," a methodology oriented towards the decontextualization of art where music, dance, performance, and the craftsmanship of handmade art emerge from conventional contexts to become everyday life, transforming cities into open-air theaters. Creator of collective flash mobs in different cities, she uses performance action and human contact to translate civil and political ideals into expressions of strong social impact. This transdisciplinary design integrates the sciences, with an emphasis on quantum physics: driven by a profound connection with Mother Nature and a firm belief in the total symbiosis between human beings and the environment, Roberta translates her vision into a concrete commitment to recognizing the biological and legal identity of urban natural heritage.
